Project

The former estate Castelfalfi with its medieval Borgo was almost deserted for several years. Through the planned project it will be fully restored and revitalized starting 2011.

In addition to the renovation of old buildings, apartments, townhouses and villas will be built. To preserve the Tuscan charm and nativeness, these developments will take place in the Tuscan style.

Development

To avoid an overdevelopment on the site, village structures will be created. Overall, a development of only 0.3% will be achieved.
Next to the new buildings, historic apartments of the Borgo and Casali (farmhouses) which are in the need of renovation are available to acquire.

Moreover, there will be a high-quality hotel with varied (recreational) offerings.

News

• In spring 2011 the whole infrastructure of the Borgo was renewed regarding new lines and pipes
• Since May 2011, the 9-hole Lake Course of the golf course is completed and is now ready to be played
• In August 2011, the Trattoria and Pizzeria "Il Rosmarino" was opened in the Borgo, and welcomes the guests daily to typical dishes from the region 
• In October 2011, the apartment constructions of the Borgo started. The completion of the Borgo is planned for the second Quarter of 2013.
• Since August, the first showroom in the boutique hotel "Tabaccaia" is completed, further expansion and remodeling of the hotel will start in October 2011
