35 years ago a holiday paradise was created at the Spanish coasts of the Mediterranean Sea resembling the harbours of Florida. Empuriabrava lies in the Bay of Roses at the Costa Brava, 40km southern of the French border and 135km northern of Barcelona. Today, the modern holiday village with a good infrastructure forms the largest European marina. Many magnificent mansions with private moorings and beautiful gardens flank more than 30km of navigable sea water canals. Beside the quiet residential areas you can find a town centre with a broad range of restaurants, cafés, boutiques, malls, and bars etc. Several ship agents offer sales and purchases of sport and sailing boats and care for the boats maintenance and winter storage. The yacht harbour disposes of several cranes carrying up to 50 tons.

Empuriabrava offers excellent conditions for all kinds of water sports as sailing, wind surfing, diving, fishing, or discovering the wonderful coast with idyllic bays and clear water- everything is possible. Families with children enjoy the long sand beaches.

The area around Empuriabrava offers many recreation and entertaining possibilities: many golf courses and a hiking tour to the charming monastery of San Pere de Rhodes are just examples for the various ways of entertainment. There are many wonderful properties satisfying different needs.

The property market in Empuriabrava can be divided into five categories. The most expensive objects are villas situated next to the canals which are especially rare and exclusive. They belong to the most expensive objects at the Costa Brava and range between 400,000 and 5,000,000 Euro. Furthermore the villas without a mooring or a canal access are partly splendid objects and in good conditions (300,000 to 1,500,000 Euro). Furthermore, there are town houses at the suburbs with constructed areas ranging between 60 and 200 sqm which cost about 100,000 to 400,000 Euro. The fourth group includes apartments with canal access and a mooring which are partly exclusive objects (150,000 1,500,000 Euro). In general, it is possible to purchase different kinds of apartments which range between 50,000 and 500,000 Euro.
