Finest Real Estate 2011/2012 in Mallorca

Dear Friends of Majorca!

Majorca is one of those few spots in the world which has got it all: spectacular natural settings, with the sea, countryside and mountains always nearby, infrastructure, excellent cuisine and climate. The high standards of what the island has to offer and the economic growth in certain northern European countries have sparked greater interest in foreign investors who see opportunities in the local real estate market.

Year after year, the number of foreign property owners has been increasing. While home buyers used to be German and English, nowadays Austrians, Swiss, Russians and Scandinavians are also looking for their niche in this privileged corner of Europe. Not only does its coast attract, but its inner rural areas have also awakened the interest of foreigners, who value peaceful and quiet surroundings. Engel & Völkers, present on the island since 1999, has a team of professional property experts who would be delighted to guide you through the 3,000 properties we have available. Visit us!

We look forward to seeing you!

Rentals

Many potential buyers prefer to rent before they finally buy their dream home. The advantages of renting are many but probably the most important factor for our clients is that whilst renting they have the chance to live in and research at fi rst hand the areas where they want to buy. Decision making is dependent on location, quality and the day to day experience of living in a type of property and particular area. Furthermore, changes to the Spanish rental laws in the 1990’s mean that rental clients now have a choice of different contract terms and are not necessarily obliged to extend their rental contract beyond the initial agreed rental period.
