You can find just about any type of grocery product
you want in Hong Kong. The main supermarket chains are Park'N Shop and Wellcome
that provide a mix of local and international products. Most international
credit cards can be used here and they also offer online shopping and delivery
services.
CitySuper, Great, Taste and Oliver’s Delicatessen cater to more gourmet Western tastes, providing a wide selection of specialty items, imported food and Western and international brands.
There are also a number of local grocery stores, bakeries and “wet markets”. “Wet markets” are open-air, traditional street markets where you can barter and buy very fresh produce, including vegetables, meat and fish. The largest are in the enclosed Wan Chai Market and on Bowrington Road in Causeway Bay. They generally open at around 9:00am and close at around 8:00pm.
