Among the buildings around the countryyard, the small church (still open to worship) has been built in 1830 on the side of the portico of a much older one, originally dateing back probably to the VII-VIII century. Vestiges of the medieval time are visible in the building: thick walls, an important large medieval wine press, stone walls with the characteristic traits of medieval masonry. At the end of 1700, the Monastery was transformed in the country house as it is now. The garden was created at the same time, and some original trees still exist, terraces were made on the eastern part of the hill, and it was fenced in with a stone wall. This apartment is on two levels: at the entrance we have the kitchen with a closet room and fireplace, a dining room with fireplace and an exit to the rear and private garden, a original well and a enchanting wine cellar. From a staircase we access the top floor where we have four bedrooms, two bathrooms, one big living room. Fixtures and doors are in oak, resinuous wood or chestnut; numerous doors are antique and original; most of the floors are original XVIII century, in slabs of local stone or Lombardy-style briks (medoni), some variegated. Most of the ceilings (3mt to 4 mt hight) are of wood beam type, antique and original, some simply decorated. The owners have restored the estate in a conservative way between 1976 and 2008 in order to provide four large and confortable houses around the courtyard. There is a double garage that servs the apartament. Two gardens, one inside the house and the other one outside the premises.

The estate is located in the municipality of Casale Litta, province of Varese, on the edge of the small villa named San Pancrazio al Colle from the name of its Monastery, 800 meters from the main village of Villadosia, near the top of a hill at an elevation of 340m. Its about 12km south of Varese, 50km north-west from Milan, 17km from Malpensa Airport and 24km from the Swiss border, and at few km we have the lakes of Maggiore, varese, Corgeno, Monate and Orta.
