Engel & Voelkers started operating in Portugal in July 2003, when we opened the first estate agency in the popular Algarve coastal resort of Lagos. Meanwhile the brand name got popular, so that another office could be inaugurated in Albufeira in December 2006, covering the areas of Albufeira and larger surroundings like, Paderne, Guia, Galé, Olhos d’Água, and Areias de S. João.

Engel & Voelkers has made a fusion with the one of the most experienced real estate agencies of Albufeira, Iberus Lda. , which has been working there for 21 years, thus knowing the area and the local property market perfectly.

Our portfolio consists of properties in all price ranges and types, including apartments, villas, townhouses, country estates and building plots. What all our properties have in common though, is consistently high quality at market – orientated prices.

In Albufeira actually have been established two shops, one in downtown Albufeira, close to the numerous bars, restaurants and shopping facilities that this vibrant town has to offer. The other shop is located more at the outskirts of the centre, on a hill, overlooking the new Marina. Both shops will offer the whole range of properties, which we have on our portfolio.

The area of Albufeira has always attracted a whole lot of international visitors, mainly, however, English and Irish people.
