The hotel and the detached smaller buildings are regularly maintained and modernized during recent years, including geothermal heating, and are in good condition.

Kall is located in the beautiful province of Jämtland with mountains and vast expanses. There are endless opportunities for both summer and winter activities. Hiking, ski touring and cross-countryskiing in amounts as well as opportunities for hunting grouse and other small game. Nearby you’ll also find Kall Auto Lodge that attracts automobile enthusiasts and car manufacturers from all over to drive at their ice tracks. It also attracts many customers to the hotel.

Åre is Sweden's skiing mecca No. 1 and has also become a very popular summer destination for sports and outdoor enthusiasts and offers mountain bike trails, climbing and paragliding. The distance to Åre is aprox 40 km (25 km on winter roads).
The area is easily accessible with train station in Järpen 25 km away and the Östersund airport 95 km.
