Cape Cod, Osterville Massachusetts

Cape Cod (or simply the Cape) is an arm shaped peninsual forming the easternmost portion of the state of Massachusetts in the Northern United States. The Cape's small town character and beachfront brings heavy tourism during the summer months.

Osterville is a village in the town of Barnstable, Massachusetts. Located on the south side of Barnstable along the Nantucket Sound, Osterville is primarily residential and includes inlets and harbors for fishing and boating and a small business district.

In the summer, Osterville thrives due to predominantly seasonal make-up of its residents. Many maintain a second house in the area while spending most of their time in Greater Boston.
