Suvereto is a small village located in the heart of the Etruscan Coast, one of the most fascinating and historically rich areas of Tuscany. The village is about 15 km from the sea, in the province of Livorno, and is known for its varied landscape that alternates between gentle hills, oak forests, and vineyards stretching as far as the eye can see. Its position, between the Alta Maremma and the coast, makes it an ideal starting point for exploring this wonderful part of Tuscany. The territory of Suvereto is rich in medieval and historical villages, such as Campiglia Marittima and Venturina Terme, in addition to Piombino and Populonia, famous for its Etruscan archaeological site and Roman ruins, and is characterized by unspoiled nature, with lush hills, ancient olive groves, and vineyards producing some of the best Tuscan wines. The area is also famous for the numerous trails for hiking or cycling. The view from the heights is spectacular, with panoramas extending to the sea. Suvereto is about 15 km from the coast, where some of the most beautiful beaches are located, such as those of the Gulf of Baratti and San Vincenzo. These beaches are famous for their fine sand and crystal-clear waters, ideal for swimming or boat excursions. The nearest airport is Galileo Galilei in Pisa, about 90 km away.
