Mr Höll, ten years of Engel & Völkers in Innsbruck – what was your very personal motivation to start here?
“Innsbruck has always been a special place for me – this mix of alpine scenery and urban quality of life still fascinates me today. In 2015, we started out with a vision: to combine premium living spaces with a genuine culture of consultancy. Today, we can look back on countless successful transactions – and on clients who feel truly well taken care of with us.”
What, in your view, has changed the most?
“The market has become significantly more demanding – both for buyers and sellers. Quality, sustainability, and the desire for long-term value stability play a greater role today than they did ten years ago. At the same time, Innsbruck as a city has developed further: new neighbourhoods, young newcomers, modern architecture – but also a stronger awareness for protecting landscapes and living spaces.”
Is there a project or property that has particularly stayed in your memory?
“Oh, many! But if I had to name one, it would be a stylish city villa in Saggen that we were able to broker to a young family. This property had history, character, and substance – and it was wonderful to see how a new chapter began on that foundation.”
What makes Innsbruck such a special location today?
“The combination of nature, education, culture, and innovation. Innsbruck is young, international, and at the same time deeply rooted in tradition. Those who live here have the mountains on their doorstep and city life right alongside – something that is very rare.”
And how do you see the future of Engel & Völkers in Innsbruck?
“I see us as a reliable partner – for owners looking for a discreet and professional marketing process, as well as for people wanting to find a new home here. Our network is growing, and so is our experience. The next ten years are welcome to come.”
What are your wishes for the coming years – both personally and professionally?
“I wish that we will continue to advise with genuine enthusiasm, accompany with sincere appreciation, and broker with sensitivity. Real estate is always about emotions. And those who broker with passion don’t just create living space – they create quality of life. If we can preserve that, then much good lies ahead of us.”
Thank you for the conversation – and here’s to the next ten years full of trust, responsibility, and special places to live.
