Description

This spacious two-bedroom apartment in Alfragide, located in Bairro do Zambujal, is on the first floor of a building without a lift. Due to the slope of the land, the rear of the apartment is at a height equivalent to a fourth floor, providing greater privacy, plenty of natural light and completely unobstructed views, with the Tagus River visible in the distance.

The apartment also has a pantry and a small balcony next to the kitchen. It also includes a 12 sqm storage room in the basement.

It is located in a residential area with easy street parking, close to shops and services. It is near IKEA, Alegro Alfragide and the Carnaxide shopping area. It has good road and public transport connections, providing easy access to Lisbon, Oeiras and other parts of Amadora.

An excellent option for anyone looking for a spacious two-bedroom apartment in an area with shops, services, good access and unobstructed views.

Location: Alfragide, Amadora

Of the old estates that once existed in the area of the present-day parish—Quinta Grande de Alfragide, Quinta do Meio and Quinta das Torres—little remains today. The parish is crossed by one of the largest subsidiary aqueducts of the Águas Livres Aqueduct—the Buraca or Francesas Aqueduct—which begins in the Municipality of Oeiras, in the Serra de Carnaxide, and joins the General Águas Livres Aqueduct in Buraca, near Lisbon.

There are two fully rebuilt windmills in the parish which, nevertheless, do not operate because they have not been completely restored. They serve as a symbol, evoking the several dozen mills that once operated simultaneously in the Amadora region.

The present-day parish of Alfragide and part of Buraca encompasses areas with distinct urban-planning origins and includes the settlements of the Zambujal Integrated Plan, Alfragide Sul, Quinta Grande and the business park along EN 117. It is a polycentric territory, where the supply of goods and services is geared towards differentiated demands inseparable from the socioeconomic status of its inhabitants.
