Valbrona is a small municipality located in the province of Como, Lombardy, in northern Italy. It is located among the hills and mountains of the Larian Triangle, a region enclosed between the branches of Lake Como, near the most famous tourist resorts such as Bellagio and Lecco. The airports of Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) and Milan Linate Airport (LIN) are about an hour and a half away by car, 85 km and 70 km away respectively. The nearest ski resorts are those of Piani di Bobbio in Barzio (40 km - about 1 hour by car), Madesimo (about 100 km - about 2 hours by car), Chiesa in Valmalenco (about 110 km - about 2 hours and 15 min by car) Valtorta-Piani d'Artavaggio (about 45 km - about 1 hour by car). Valbrona is therefore well connected to both the cities and the main airports, as well as being close to several ski resorts popular with winter sports enthusiasts.
