Port of Sóller is a small coastal village located in Majorca West, flanked by the imposing Tramuntana Mountain Range. Its early 20th century-tram continues running daily between the port and the town. Each month of May, the local fair ‘Es Firó’ re-enacts, in a colourful, authentic manner, the port’s resistance to the attack by Turkish and Algerian corsairs and pirates in the 16 th century. The bay is a much-sought scenario for water and nautical activities, and you may rent a boat at the dock. Its sandy beach and calm waters are perfect to relax, go for a swim, sun-bathe or watch beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Something exciting is always going on at Port de Sóller, attracting visitors from all over and making the village a lively place to be in.
