Quinta do Rasmalho is located in the village of Rasmalho, in the parish of Portimão, close to the EN 266 national road, which links Portimão to Monchique.

Portimão is the largest city in the Western Algarve with about 60,000 inhabitants and was once a place where boat building, sardine fishing and fish processing accounted for most of the city's activity.
However, most of this industry has been replaced by tourism, entertainment and services, turning it into a large residential town, in perfect harmony with its pedestrianised historic centre and riverside areas.
