Peace and quiet while admiring the Lake

Bedero is a small village above Germignaga offering breathtaking views over the lake, just 10 minutes from Luino and 5 from Germignaga. It is known for its scenic viewpoints such as the Belvedere. The municipal area stretches widely between the lake and the hills, offering visitors striking vistas and opportunities to relax: in particular, the municipal beach is known for its crystal-clear waters, making it one of the twelve best beaches in the Province of Varese. Not far away is Luino, with all its attractions and services. Luino is marked by history and culture, with a strong inclination toward literature. It is famous for its wonderful new lakeside promenade featuring two playground areas, a walkway suspended over the lake, and a beach, “le Serenelle,” certified for excellent bathing quality. Another beach, not far from Luino, is in Colmegna, renowned for its crystal-clear waters. The walk through the historic center is lovely, with its narrow streets, Renaissance and Baroque palazzos, the arcades of inner courtyards, artisan workshops, and shops. One of the main attractions is the Wednesday market, one of Luino’s key events: a true weekly fair with over 350 stalls laid out along the streets of the center and the lakeside. For lovers of sports, or of life on the water in general, there is the Alto Verbano sailing association, as well as the extensive service provided by Lake Maggiore Navigation, which allows you to reach the Borromean Islands or nearby Switzerland. Not far from Luino, in Maccagno, is the small ski resort of Forcora (Forcora Ski). Luino enjoys a strategic position thanks to its proximity to Switzerland and the rail link with Milan and the Canton of Ticino.
