Piazzogna is a typical Ticino village in the hilly Gambarogno region and the starting point for numerous hikes in the surrounding mountains. Situated on one of the many natural terraces reflected in the lake, it enjoys a splendid view of the Maggia delta, the Verzasca Valley, Locarno and Ascona.
