The small village of Betlem is in the southeast of the bay of Alcúdia. Off the beaten track and away from mass tourism, it is a place to enjoy some of the most beautiful landscapes of Majorca. Small rocky coves and crystal-clear waters make it the ideal spot for swimming, snorkelling or diving. A whole network of small paths and trails through wild and romantic landscapes of protected areas and mountains make this part of the island one of the favourite spots for trekkers, cyclists and mountain bikers. Some of the highlights in the area are Puig Morei (562 m), with a defence tower, and Mont Ferrutx (519 m), the two highest mountains in the Serra de Llevant. From their summits you will see some breathtaking panoramic views of the whole island. This picturesque village, perched on the side of the mountain, bursts into red and orange when the sun sets on the opposite side of the bay. Enjoy its magical atmosphere on a terrace looking out to sea or in one of its two restaurants or, even better, sitting on your terrace.
Less than 5 km from there is Colònia Sant Pere, with its beautiful peer with cafes, restaurants, shops and a small marina. South of Colònia Sant Pere is a long and sandy beach, stretching several kilometres.
Some 15 minutes from the village you will find the medieval city of Artà, with a wide range of shops, leisure activities and a large weekly market, as well as a rich culture. It is the meeting point for keen golfers, since there are four golf courses in the area around the city.
It is definitely worth while paying a visit to Betlem; let its natural beauty captivate you and maybe decide to stay and live there. If this is your dream we will help you find your ideal property. Do not hesitate to contact us on +34-971-82 93 39
