Elviria is a very popular residential area located in the eastern part of Marbella, about 15 minutes drive to Marbella city centre and 25 minutes drive to the international airport of Malaga. Some of the best international schools are situated in Elviria such as the English International College, the German School and Colegio Ecos. The area is well equipped with services, restaurants, supermarkets and entertainment facilities. Elviria offers beautiful sandy beaches with charming beach restaurants and the famous beach club Niki Beach is situated just next to the five star luxury Hotel Don Carlos.

The most sought after apartment communities in Elviria are:

Elviria Hills: a prestigious and luxurious development with beautiful sea views and with its own Greenlife golf course, club house and excellent restaurant. A complex with exclusive apartments and penthouses with up to 4 bedrooms and 11 community pools.

La Mairena

Situated in the hills of Elviria, La Mairena offers tranquility and the most fantastic panoramic views over the sea and Africa´s coast. La Mairena is located near the German school Juan Hoffman and the boys school Ecos. In the area of La Mairena you will find many luxury apartment complexes, such as El Soto which offers a golf course, gym and club house. You will also find many private villas with fantastic views.

Hacienda Las Chapas

Hacienda Las Chapas is together with Los Monteros one of the most privileged areas to live in the east part of Marbella. Its broad streets and abundance of palm and pine trees create a “green feeling”. The villas are mainly built on larger plots and therefore offer much privacy and exclusivity. Hacienda Las Chapas is located on the hillside overlooking Marbella East. In 3 to 5 minutes you can stand on the green of Cabopino Golf. The courses of Rio Real, Santa Clara and Santa Maria can be reached in 5 to 8 minutes by car.

Marbesa is a low density residential area located just under 8 km east of the town centre of Marbella. The urbanisation is well-established and offers quiet streets leading to beautiful sandy beaches and beach restaurants. Marbesa is the perfect area for people who look for a quiet place to live and want to be close to the beach without paying the premium prices found elsewhere in beach side residences around Marbella.

Properties for sale in Marbella are requested especialy because of the proximity to the beach and the tranquility of the area.

Los Monteros

Los Monteros is considered to be the most exclusive neighbourhood of Marbella East. Properties are built on rather larger plots to maintain privacy and more safety. The prestigious area of Los Monteros offers both seaside and mountainside developments separated by the coastal motorway. In Los Monteros, you will find some of the most luxurious villas on the Costa del Sol with only walking distance to the beautiful sandy beaches. The area consists of the districts of La Reserva de Los Monteros (seaside), Bahia de Los Monteros, (seaside), Rio Real de Los Monteros (around the Rio Real golf) and Los Altos de Los Monteros (up in the hills). Also worth noting is the Hospital Costa del Sol, which is right off the Los Monteros exit and is well known as one of the area’s highest quality health centres. Los Monteros is about 10 minutes from the English International College, which serves children at both primary and secondary levels.

Properties in Los Monteros are very requested, however, the demand is higher than the suppy.

Rio Real

Rio Real is a lovely residential community built around the Rio Real Golf Course and is situated in the outskirt of Marbella, just few minutes drive from the centre of Marbella and 30 minutes drive from the International airport of Malaga. The community offers elegant villas as well as well kept exclusive urbanizations with high quality apartments and penthouses. The Rio Real hotel, a small top star hotel boutique is situated within the urbanization and offers 29 exclusive golf suites, and wellness center. Golf here is a very pleasant experience, offering wonderful views, well established trees and much appreciated shade while the river intersects the course at various points. Costabella is one of the longest established urbanisations in the East of Marbella and belongs to one of the nicest. Situated on the fine sandy beaches, Costabella offers high quality communities, traditional villas with private streets and a short drive to the Marbella City Centre.

The properties in Costa Bella are mostly private, charming villas, all situated in a walking distance to the beach.

El Rosario

El Rosario is a villa area only 5 km east from the centre of Marbella. Located on a hill, most villas offer fantastic sea view and are close to the beach. El Rosario is a well established area and well known for its natural surroundings and peacefulness. The well known El Casco tennis club offers around ten clay courts and several other ones. El Rosario is located next to Los Monteros and is also close to the Costa del Sol Hospital. The centre provides a variety of good restaurants, supermarket and other amenities. The properties in El Rosario differ from traditional Andalusian villas to modern mansions.

Bahia de Marbella

Bahia de Marbella describes one ofthe most luxurious beach resorts on the Costa del Sol. Located on white sandy beaches, one can find the urbanisation just next to the prestigious urbanisation Los Monteros, only 5km from Marbella Centre and close to the Costa del Sol Hospital. Bahia de Marbella provides well-maintained and secure gated communities, such as Las Brisas and Grand Bahia. Apartments have mostly beautiful sea view and are located only a few minutes from the beautiful Mediterranean Sea and its beaches. The villas in Bahia de Marbella are most elegant and mostly newly built.

Altos de Marbella

The ¨Heights of Marbella¨ is a small community of about 100 houses built, mostly in the traditional Andalusian style. The properties offer stunning panoramic views with only 5km from the centre of Marbella. Approximately 60% of the owners are non-Spanish, and around 40% of the owners live in Los Altos permanently while the majority use their houses for holidays. The urbanisation also provides a community office with permanent multi-lingual staff.
