Gènova is a lovely, authentic village next to Sa Teulera, La Bonanova and San Agustín, which are all parts of Palma.
Gènova has always been a favourite location for wealthy ‘palmesanos’ – the people from Palma. Attractive village houses and villas combined with apartments or penthouses dominate the cityscape. From there you can enjoy an extensive view of the city and the bay of Palma.
This village on a hill side is well-known thanks to its dripstone cave Coves de Gènova and the viewpoint with its statue of Jesus Christ of 300 m.
From a culinary point of view Gènova offers a lot, too: there are plenty of excellent typical Mallorcan restaurants, such as the Casa Jacinto, Sa Caseta, Es Reco de Gènova or C’an Pedro, for example.
