of Marbella Luxury Weekend. The event will be held from the 5-8th, June 2014 at the Puerto Deportivo José Banús. Marbella does it with style. The weekend will be host to the highest level of luxury, style and fashion by industry leaders. Continuing the success of the previous three events, they will again be looking to captivate an audience of thousands of locals, tourists and the media. They will highlight the best of Puerto Banús, gaining leverage throughout the world. The event has become synonymous with fashion, design, gastronomy, hospitality and the most elite of brands.

From the 6th June the fashion shows will commence on the 21 metre long x 2.5 metre wide catwalk. 200 VIP’s will have advantage points from the stands and a
yacht for 50 more VIP’s. Where else would you expect this than in Marbella? A
floating fashion show at one of the most prestigious international ports. A highly
ambitious feat and one you’d imagine would take a little expertise from the models
participating. I hope they have good sea legs!

Yes, designer Cisco Romero has created ‘Candela’ she is a 50’s vintage Barbie. She will sparkle in a bridal gown of precious metals and stones. What sparkling event would be complete without one? This will surely to be on the wishlist of every bride to be.
The Tourist Board and City of Marbella have sponsored the event from the onset in 2011 and collaborated with other sponsors to make this one of the most talked about events.
La Zagaleta will open their third edition of Brands and Trends Forum at the Palacio de Congresos in Marbella on Friday 6th June from 9am. It will be opened by the new
president Oswald Grubel.
The theme this year is ‘Brand in the XXI century’. They will be looking to the
understanding of the social responsibility and the age of digital technology in
restructuring business and forming strategies. High end speakers will deliver
presentations and be represented by companies such as Telefonica, Bentley,
Osborn Group and Adolfo Dominguez.
Having attracted big names like Google and Coca-Cola previously La Zagaleta are
sure not to miss the mark with quality presentations at this edition.
COAST OF GOLF
So as not to miss out on a golfing opportunity on this famous coast of Golf there will
be a Golf Tournament at the fourth edition MLW which will take place at the five star,
Country Club Resort Hotel Marbella Club.
1 BASKET 1 FAMILY
Keeping a hold on reality for a moment there has been a nominated charity, the SOS
Universal Children’s Day Foundation and its Solidarity Treasures campaign. Luxury
items donated by participating businesses will be drawn at the raffle at the closing
ceremony. The charity helps families with young children at risk of social exclusion. Every child
has the right to a healthy start in life. Unfortunately, there have been families hard hit
with the economic situation and Marbella and other neighbouring communities are
supported by the charity. Marí León has organised the raffle and is herself an ambassador for the charity, she will be accompanied by the infamous Ana Antic, who will be master of ceremonies.
Ana is a fashion writer, advertiser and dresser of the stars.
A RACY GRAND PRIX
The event opens with a racy pace and will end in one, with the Grand Prix. Up to 50
pre-1980’s vehicles will be competing in a circuit, which has included slow speed
sections and check-points for fans to get up close and personal.
