This 8th edition of the Real Estate Exhibition of the Basque Country (SIE) will take place on 7th, 8th and 9th November turned into an event of reference within the sector and after having accomplished great success of attendance and participation in past editions.
The event, same as the last time, will kick off at the Euskalduna Palace of Bilbao offering more than 2.000 square meters showcasing the best new builds and second hand properties available.
The novelty this year will be a section dedicated to Home, Decoration and Refurbishments. The sponsors of the event are Kutxabank, Basque Government and pisos.com.
The main Real Estate companies, more than 20, will be offering newly built flats in different areas of Biscay, Cantabria and La Rioja as well as a wide range of second hand properties and rents, together with the House Hold goods, Decoration and refurbishing businesses.
This year, same as last year, a Delegation of Biscay for the Official Basque – Navarre Arquitect Association will be participating in the event.
The purpose of their presence will be making clear what´s the function of an architect in society. They will also be offering information of their services, both for architects as well as for the general population: cultural activities, training courses, etc.
Due to the current economy the companies taking part will be making a big effort to adjust prices and to offer a wide range of possibilities for the different buyer profiles that you can find in the market.
The SIE Home room is a compulsory stop for all those people who want to be up to date with the best real estate, decoration and household goods offers.
The SIE organizers view is that it is a great time to buy since prices have gone down around 10 to 20% and there is great uncertainty regarding future changes to tax exemptions when buying a house.
The favorable change in mortgage terms and conditions as well as the reduced interest rates are also to be taken into account.
The Bargain Exhibition
Lastly, this year and as a novelty, this edition of the SIE will host a Professional Forum in the morning of the Friday 7th November that will include presentations focused exclusively on topics interesting for those in the business. Assistance needs to be confirmed as the places are limited.
