Once again the performance of Engel & Völkers Southern Africa has been acknowledged on the international sales arena of the Engel & Völkers group worldwide, by no less than three of our agents. “We at head office are indeed very proud of their achievements, especially when you take into account the strong competition they are up against,” says Craig Hutchison, CEO of Engel & Völkers SA.
Each year the Engel & Völkers group headquarters in Hamburg, Germany collate data to determine the winners of the various categories.
These awards are based on sales for the period 1 January to 31 December 2013.
For the second year in a row, Theo Volschenk from our Potchefstroom franchise, was nominated and this year he has won the category “TOP Agent Unit Sales” – this being due to him internationally achieving the highest number of points in this category. Ansa du Plooy, also from Potchefstroom, came 6th in the international rankings for the most number of units sold. Daniël Gouws, a young rookie agent from our Pretoria New East franchise, came 10th in the international rankings also for the most number of units sold.
Each year the award function and prize giving is held on the beautiful Spanish island of Majorca, at the magnificent coastline estate owned by Christian Völkers, CEO of Engel & Völkers International. “All three our nominees have been invited to this special event in July where they will be sharing the platform with all the other international winners and nominees, as well as mingling with many well known personalities”, Craig continued.
This is an absolutely magical experience to look forward to and we know an
event like this and the acknowledgement along with it will encourage them to once again strive for best in 2014. There are some wonderful prizes in store for all the winners as recognition of their outstanding individual achievements.
