Registration is open for racing ! Saturday, April 12th start of the Verbano Sailing Championship first race, born of the synergistic collaboration between nine sailing clubs of Lake Maggiore, the prestigious Engel & Völkers and the group of owners of Assoverbano, promoters of the new circuit of regattas that will help to equip impacting the already beautiful scenery of Lake Maggiore setting, making it even more impressive. The championship will involve Piedmont, Lombardy and Ticino. The sail will then be the unquestioned leader of the League of Verbano Italy – Swiss ( CIVS ), 1st trophy Engel & Völkers, an initiative that, on his debut, aims to bring together all the major events for large yachts and bulb, played under ‘ auspices of the Italian Sailing Federation and the Swiss Sailing.
Unusual and great value , the idea of engaging in ” White Sails ” boats with only two main sails , easy to control and maneuverability, so as to encourage the involvement of inexperienced and crews of minimum number.

The circuit of regattas will be divided between tests on buoys, highly technical , and cross paths even at night , which will enhance the ability of competitors to juggle the many environmental conditions and thermal properties typical of these ” marathons ” of the lake.
