How long have you been an agent, and what, if anything, did you do before?
I have been an Estate Agent since 2003. Prior to that I worked for 18 years as an Air Hostess in Yugoslavia, and following my arrival in South Africa, in a number of different jobs including Assistant Hotel Manager, and work in the retail sector.
How do you achieve a work/life balance?
I focus on prioritising what I have to do and on planning and managing my time – I just wish there were more hours in a day!
What is your favourite way to spend a rainy Sunday?
Reading my books.
Favourite place with a log fire in Cape Town?
My friend’s house in Hout Bay.
What is in your fridge?
Feta cheese, veggies and salad, eggs, milk, bottle of white wine.
Advice for someone thinking of a career in real estate?
You must be prepared for hard work and have a real passion for property.
If you weren’t an agent what would you be?
Something in tourism, which I am also qualified for.
Your perfect supper guests?
My friends: Rika, David, Suzana and Misha. We always find something to laugh about!
