Second ‘Unusual Botany Fair’ in Puerto Portals-May 30th, 2014 – June 01st, 2014

From Friday, 30th of May until Sunday, 1st of June 2014, the Puerto Portals Boulevard will turn into a paradise for botany, gardening and landscaping lovers. The second ‘Unusual Botany’ fair will take place at the beautiful Puerto Portals bay.

Taking inspiration from several European fairs, such as the ‘Orticola Fair of Lombardía in Milan’, the ‘Chelsea Flower Show’ in London, the ‘Unusual Botany Fair’ will offer the possibility to view and purchase all types of horticultural varieties and wander into a space where the colours and scents of the many plant species will be concentrated.

During the three days it lasts, Puerto Portals turns into a Feria, becoming a showcase for renowned professionals to show the latest trends in gardening, botany, and decoration of green spaces. This initiative aims to be a meeting point for fans of the garden and nature, but also for visitors who wish to enjoy the music, ecology and gastronomy, without leaving their children behind.

Throughout the tour, the visitors can enjoy various areas: flowers, green products, decoration and art, trees and shrubs, gardens of the world, as well as a space dedicated to promoting knowledge for children and respect for the environment, with workshops and exhibitions.

Also, you will be able to enjoy drinks made from botanical scents and petals and special food in a festive atmosphere, with live music by Wonderbrass and Flavia’N.  An ideal event for the entire family.
