Engel & Völkers provides more than 30 years experience in the sale of premium properties and is nowadays the market leader in the mediation of high end residential real estates. Our sales areas covers Bonanova & Son Armadams, Genova, Paseo Maritimo, San Agustin and Santa Catalina.

Bonanova & Son Armadams are peaceful and family-friendly districts of Palma. Many beautiful villas and apartment units characterize the neighborhood. The well-known five-star Hotel Grupotel Valparaíso Palace is also located in this prime area.

Bonanova and Son Armadams are next to the woods and the park of Bellver Castle, as well as the El Terreno district, which is so famous for its nightlife and its opulent old villas, as well as the Marivent Pallace, the summer residence of the Spanish Royal Family. There is also an international school in this part of town, the Queens College, which has been very popular for many years.

The closest beach is Cala Mayor, about 3 km away from Bonanova and Son Armadams.

Gènova is a lovely, authentic village next to Sa Teulera, La Bonanova and San Agustín, which are all parts of Palma. Gènova has always been a favourite location for wealthy ‘palmesanos’ – the people from Palma. Attractive village houses and villas combined with apartments or penthouses dominate the cityscape. From there you can enjoy an extensive view of the city and the bay of Palma. This village on a hill side is well-known thanks to its dripstone cave Coves de Gènova and the viewpoint with its statue of Jesus Christ of 300 m.

From a culinary point of view Gènova offers a lot, too: there are plenty of excellent Mallorcan restaurants, such as the Casa Jacinto, Sa Caseta, Es Reco de Gènova or C’an Pedro, for example.

Palma de Mallorca – City living in great villas and apartments

Palma, the capital of Mallorca, is the seat of the autonomous government of the Balearics. It is the strategic centre of the Balearics, because apart from the government it also has the largest port, the largest airport and a well-developed infrastructure.

The city charms its tourists again and again with its historic quarter, the beautifully restored façades of its townhouses with elegant apartments and penthouses in history-charged buildings. Your house, villa, apartment in Palma will be in one of the most beautiful Mediterranean cities. We have the right property for you, for sale or to rent in Palma de Mallorca.

In the last ten years millions of euros have been spent to renovate the city and the façades of buildings. The beautiful and characteristic gothic Cathedral “La Seu” dominates the silhouette of the city.

The old town of Palma offers a mix of styles including Spanish Catalan and Arab features. It is known for its many narrow alleyways, some of which are only connected via steps. The Plaça Major is the centre of the old town.

In the southwest, on the edge of the old town above the port rises the “Castell de Bellver”, a medieval castle.

Not far from the port and the cathedral, there is another master piece of civil gothic architecture in Palma: the “Llotja dels Mercaders”, the former Maritime Stock Exchange. All these factors contribute to the fact that Palma is a cosmopolitan city where life pulsates all year round. Yet, as the city is manageable; everything can easily be reached on foot.

Palma, with its three marinas, is also a destination for sailing and motor boat fans; the best-known sports marina is Real Club Nautico where many important regattas, such as for example the Copa del Rey, are held. The Spanish Royal Family is a permanent guest here. The Club del Mar is another traditional club, one of the most expensive and exclusive marinas in Europe.
