View the artist’s new breathtaking work, Miquel Salom’s new work, ICTUM OLIM III, will be exhibited at the exclusive Rialto Living store in Calle Feliu, Palma de Mallorca. The artist’s novel project, under the name of ‘Ambrotypes Tintypes’, will be on display from the Thursday, the 16th of July 2015, to Wednesday, the 12th August 2015.

1-8 August 2015 – Copa del Rey Regatta
The Palma Regatta has moved back to its usual spot but with a few new attractions.
The Regatta this year will have a more festival atmosphere with live music, bars, cafes and restaurants set up in Sa Faixina Park between Santa Catalina and Es Baluard.
Sunday 9th August 2015 – Chopin Classical Music Festival Valldemossa
In 1930, the Mallorcan composer Joan Maria Thomàs created the Chopin Festival – the first in the world – with the assistance of the Boutroux-Ferrà couple, who offered him a room in the Carthusian Monastery in Valldemossa to act as the Festival’s headquarters. Between 1931 and 1936 this musical enterprise hosted the most significant composers and performers of the early twentieth century.
The concerts are held every August in the spectacular grounds of the Carthusian Monastery in Valldemossa. Performances start at 10pm.

Thursday 17th September - Nit de l’Art, Palma de Mallorca
Palma hosts its Nit de l’Art every year on the third Thursday in September.
The museums and galleries of Palma open their doors to visitors for free during this evening. Many of the galleries feature new exhibitions by well known artists and you can enjoy a glass or two of cava as you peruse the art. In addition to the open-house galleries, the streets of Palma come alive with performance art and street theatre. The event starts from 7pm and the galleries will remain open until midnight. You can pick up a list and map of participating galleries throughout Palma in the galleries themselves.

From the very beginning in 2004, the Festival of Classical Music, Port de Soller has become one of the outstanding events for the lovers of classical music in Mallorca.
In conjunction with the great pianist Alexander Malter, who is the artistic consultant for the entire festival, the organisers are able to present concerts of the very highest quality. Each concert is held in the Santa Catalina monastery overlooking the port.
