The estate of Hollywood star Jeff Bridges is up for sale for 29.5 million US dollars. The star, born in 1949, is parting ways with his villa named ‘Santa Lucia’. It is located in Montecito, California, which is ranked as one of the most affluent cities in the States. Bridges bought the property in 1994 from musician Kenny Loggins. It is located on an estate comprising 4,046 square metres and has five bedrooms and five bathrooms, as well as a guest house and its own recording studio. The star has reportedly recorded a few of his own songs here. On the third floor there is a meditation room.
Furthermore, a pool, a small vineyard and a garden with a collection of aloe vera plants grown himself are among the amenities. The villa, built in a Tuscan style, was constructed according to the plans of architect Barry Berkus from Santa Barbara. Stone, wood, stucco elements and its own fireplace ensure a rustic flair. The terrace offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding area.
Jeff Bridges achieved international cult status with his role as ‘The Dude’ in the movie ‘The Big Lebowski’. In 2010, he was awarded an Oscar and a Golden Globe for his star role in ‘Crazy Heart’. He has three daughters together with his wife Susan Geston.
