Wow! At over 90,000 square metres it is London’s second biggest property after Buckingham Palace. Witanhurst. It reportedly changed hands in 2008 for 70 million euros. Speculation raged for years as to who had got their hands on the luxury property.
Now the name of the proud owner has been released to the press: It is the Russian oligarch Andrei Guriev, who is placed 497 on the list of the richest people in the world. He is worth an estimated 3.6 billion euros.
The property is in Kate Moss’s neighbourhood and its cellar alone is 40,000 square metres. It was built between 1913 and 1920. With 25 bedrooms it is the biggest private property in London. The ballroom is 70 metres long, and its facilities also include a massage room, a gym and a swimming pool.
