In an article dedicated to forestry properties, Germany’s national Sunday newspaper “Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung“ seeks out the expertise of Christoph Freiherr Schenck zu Schweinsberg, Head of the Engel & Völkers business segment “Castles & Manor Houses”. “Hunting is giving a tremendous boost to the property market at the moment,” Christoph von Schenck is quoted as saying in the newspaper. According to the expert, the market for hunting and forester’s lodges is currently seeing a very high level of demand and a lack of available offers at the same time. As a result of this, prices have reached an historic high and the time to market for individual estates is just a few weeks. There is particularly high interest in properties in a well-maintained condition, with large land plots and their own hunting grounds.
