The youngsters aged from 15 to 18 were split into 8 groups and worked as teams under the guidance of business leaders and #TeenBOSS facilitators.

Each group was given a social problem in Cape Town to discuss and to develop business ideas and plans around, to both solve the problem, as well as to create commercial opportunities.

Paul was also one of the judges when the 8 teams presented their ideas at the River Club Conference Centre.

Paul, an Entrepreneur himself, as well as a member of the Global  Entrepreneurs Organisation (EO) said, ‘It was a fantastic initiative and I was impressed and excited by what I saw.  I recently met the founder of #TeenBOSS, Lydia Zingoni at an EO event and was immediately captivated by her passion, but also by the #TeenBOSS concept in general.

The young learners were a diverse group of motivated young people who shared a common goal to make South Africa a better place to live and to be innovators and leaders in their own communities.

“I think that it is critical for the future of Africa that we encourage an entrepreneurial spirit and I am excited from what I have witnessed first-hand at the workshop.” said Paul, “Engel and Völkers will continue to support this programme and other important charitable initiatives.”
