Terms and Conditions for the Engel & Völkers AG Facebook Wall Competition

1. Organiser

The organiser of the competition is Engel & Völkers AG, Stadthausbrücke 5, 20355 Hamburg (hereinafter referred to as “Engel & Völkers”).

2. Eligibility

Entry is open to residents of Germany, aged 18 or over, who are registered as fans of the Engel & Völkers Facebook page. Each participant may take part only once in the Engel & Völkers competition. Therefore you have to follow Engel & Völkers on facebook, like the post and predict in a comment the teams which will be playing against each other in the finals

3. Participation 

Participation in the competition is effected when a participant follows Engel & Völkers on facebook, likes the post and answers in a comment on that competition post on Engel & Völkers’ wall the question asked.
Engel & Völkers reserves the right to disqualify any participant who manipulates the competition or violates these terms and conditions. Disqualification also takes place when there are grounds to suspect manipulation or a violation of these terms and conditions.
Participation in the Engel & Völkers competition is free of charge. The participant must only bear the costs of the internet connection to the website with the competition. Participation and chances of winning are independent of the purchase of any product or ordering of any services.

4. Period of participation and prizes 

The competition is open from 22 June 2016 4pm until 8 July 2016 12noon on the Engel & Völkers facebook page. The prize is the prize specified in the post by Engel & Völkers. A LG 55 Zoll 4k TV (Model:55UF 8559) worth 1.899 euro.
The winner will be selected at random. No cash alternative will be offered. 
The winner will be notified after the expiry of the entry period via a reply on Facebook to the comment of the respective participant. In this reply, the participant who is the winner of the competition will be asked to provide his/her contact data as a private message to Engel & Völkers (facebook) for the purposes of delivering the prize.

The winner must send this message providing the information to Engel & Völkers (on Facebook) by 15 July 2016 12noon. If the winner fails to do this, his/her claim to the prize becomes void and Engel & Völkers can select a new winner. 
The prize will be sent by post to the postal address provided.

5. Data protection 

In the case of a win, the participant must provide his full name, email address, postal address and date of birth. This data will be used by Engel & Völkers exclusively for the execution of the competition and in particular for the delivery of the prize. Winner data will remain stored insofar as this is necessary according to the law. This data can however be blocked for further use. Please note that as a fan of the Engel & Völkers Facebook page, the data published by the participant in his/her profile will remain visible for Engel & Völkers.

6. Liability disclaimer/ change in the terms and conditions

Engel & Völkers is not liable for the availability of the Facebook internet site or the Facebook page of Engel & Völkers. Engel & Völkers is not responsible for any sort of transmission errors. 
Engel & Völkers reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time and without stating reasons, in particular when this change is necessary due to force majeure or external conditions beyond Engel & Völkers’ influence, or when proper implementation of the competition can only be guaranteed by such a change.

7. Final provisions 

The law of the Federal republic of Germany applies. 

This competition is not in connection with Facebook and is not sponsored, funded or organised by Facebook in any way. The recipient of information supplied by users is Engel & Völkers and not Facebook. The information supplied will be used solely for the purposes of the competition. Participants indemnify Facebook for any liability resulting from claims in connection with the implementation of the competition (in particular its publication and organisation). All questions, comments or complaints about the competition are to be directed to Engel & Völkers and not to Facebook.
