Experience the passion, dynamics and elegance of polo and join us on our road show from March to September 2016. Already for the third time in a row, the team of the Engel & Völkers + Land Rover Polo School will be introducing the sport of polo in all its facets at various trade fairs, tournaments and sports events in Germany.
Team spirit, dynamics and performance are relevant in both the real estate business and in the sport of polo. The Polo School was founded many years ago out by Christian Völkers – out of a passion for sport. Together with their sponsor Land Rover, the Polo School strives to make this fascinating sport accessible to beginners.
This year’s road show of the Polo School offers especially newcomers the unique opportunity to experience and try out the sport. According to Susanne Krohn, the project manager of the Polo School, the first two events of this year’s road show offered a good first impression of what is yet to come:
“We are excited by the response of the visitors at the spring exhibition‘Schlossparkträume’ (12-13 March 2016) on the grounds of the magnificent Assumstadt Castle, where many interested visitors tested their polo skills on the wooden horse at our stand and enquired about the current course schedule of the polo academy. We were very pleased about the many in-depth discussions with polo enthusiasts.”
This was also the first year that Engels & Völkers was represented at the equestrian fair HORSICA (18-20 March 2016) in Bad Salzuflen. According to Susanne Krohn, the diversity of the exhibition stands catered perfectly for all kinds of equestrian sport enthusiasts: “The trade show offered a widely diversified range of offers. There was something for everyone: Western riders, Icelandic riders, dressage, show jumping, polo, even carriage drivers.”
For Susanne Krohn, the participation in the fair was a resounding success: “Our personal highlight was the presentation of our Polo School in the arena in front of about 10,000 visitors. It was well received by the audience, and soon visitors were lining up at our polo stand to have a go on our wooden polo horse.”
The Engel & Völkers + Land Rover Polo School will soon be represented at the next big event, the traditional equestrian festival Horses & Dreams in Hagen on 20-24 April. The 68,000 visitors of this top international event can look forward to high calibre dressage and show jumping performances as well as an attractive entertainment program. “The atmosphere at the Horses & Dreams is truly incomparable. We are looking forward to representing Engel & Völkers + Land Rover Polo School at an event offering world class sports and fun-packed entertainment revolving around equestrianism.”
