With her presentation entitled “Not just another real estate company – Working at Engel & Völkers!”, Sonja Debus, Team Leader Human Resources International/Company Owned Operations, appealed to an enthusiastic audience at a job fair on 8 February. Following the presentation, countless people visited the Engel & Völkers stand to enquire about career opportunities at Engel & Völkers. The job fair was held in the Millerntor Stadium of FC St. Pauli in Hamburg. It focussed on issues such as the recruitment of trainees and skilled staff, personnel services, training and further education as well as business start-up and corporate development.
In around 60 conversations, employees from the HR division of the Engel & Völkers headquarters gave an insight into the many areas of responsibility at Engel & Völkers, with a particular emphasis on the job description of real estate agents in the MC Elbe. Many visitors were interested in the current vacancies, not only in the headquarters but also in the overseas Market Centers. Team Leader Kerstin Heyng from MC Elbe was also on hand to provide support in the search for new real estate agents for the MC. This led to the appointment of three new real estate agents and ten other potential candidates, who will be invited in for interviews.
By the end of the year the team at the MC Elbe is expected to grow to nearly 30 real estate agents. The search is on for talented sales staff, who know the Elbvororte, Ottensen and HafenCity districts very well and have an excellent network. Do you know anyone who fits this profile?
