-Begur:

At the beginning of September, Begur is transformed to celebrate “La fira d’Indians” and revive an historical period that has left a deep imprint on the people and identity. For three days, Begur offers a wide range of entertainments and culture that has as a thread the indian past.

 

-Palafrugell: Living area with cultural, sporting facilities, and a great comercial activity located at the foot of “Les Gavarres”.

Palafrugell is the most populated town if the region. It the central area of Palafrugell there are the cultural, comercial and gastronomic activity.

Accesible only for pedestrians, around the old wall you can walk quietly and walk shops, bars, restaurants, museums and foundations.

This villa today lives mainly on tourism, is ideally located between the sea and the mountains. It is made up of 9 population centers: El Bruguerol, Calella de Palafrugell, Ermedàs, Llafranc, Llofriu, Palafrugell, Santa Margarida, Tamariu and Vila-seca.

Calella: This fishing village is located on a wide coast, formed by small coves, north of the natural area of ​​Castell-Cap Roig, ideal for walks or excursions, and south of the coast and tourist center of Llafranc. Recognized for its beautiful coves with crystalline water as well as its excellent gastronomy. Llafranc: The bay of Llafranc, its promenade, the port and “El Cap de Sant Sebastià” make this small town one of the most prestigious on the Costa Brava.
Llafranc travels between tradition and modernity. Popular and prestigious destination for more than 50 years, the bay of fine sand, bordered by a pleasant walk that reaches the nautical port, a press of Roman wine and “El Cap de Sant Sebastià” to the north. At this point we find the best views of our coast, as well as a monumental complex formed by the lighthouse of Sant Sebastià, the watchtower, the hermitage and a restored Iberian settlement. It is also a good point to take the round road in the direction of Tamariu, passing by Cala Pedrosa, or to go in search of the Dolmen of Can Mina dels Torrents.
As outstanding activities, we have “La Cantada de Habaneras de Llafranc”, the first Saturday in August, and the Mercat Boig (Crazy Market), the first Saturday in September.
Llofriu / Ermedàs: Two rural villages, one on each side of the town center, ideal for an escape in tranquility.

-Llofriu: it is a village of medieval origin where you can still breathe the tranquility, located in the north-western part of Palafrugell, at the foot of Las Gavarras, is formed by houses and surrounded by a large agricultural and livestock area. In the old town stands out the church and the old schools, nowadays Bassa-Rocas Cultural and Social Center. Also we find the Mas Pla, manpower of Josep Pla, and his tomb in the cemetery.

-Ermedàs: located at the south of Palafrugell, is a small living area of less than 50 inhabitants where we find towers of defense, houses of peas, farms and a hermitage between forests and fields. A small agricultural oasis between the town center of Palafrugell and the beaches, ideal for walks or excursions.

 

-Mont-ras: Mont-ras is a charming town located at the foot of the mountains of Las Gabarras and whose territory, facing Palafrugell, extends across the plain until reaching the sea.
The town comprises a nucleus of population, in which the gothic church of Sant Esteve stands out. In the surrounding land you can admire beautiful fortified houses and a considerable number of watchtowers, such as the Simona Tower.
