In the “Preissieger 2017” (Price Champion 2017) study organised by “Deutschland Test”, Engel & Völkers was ranked in first place in the category “Real Estate Agent” with 100 points, making it the industry winner. Only two real estate agencies made it over the 75 point hurdle. The news magazine Focus announced the results in its issue of 4 November.
The “Preissieger 2017” study looked at the social media contributions of more than 1,500 brands from 109 industries. It assessed statements about price and quality, based on data from the web monitoring tool Web Analyzer, which analyses and evaluates tens of thousands of online posts and over a million social media sources. In the period between August 2016 and July 2017, “Deutschland Test” evaluated over six million entries.
The point scores for the individual brands were awarded on a scale of 0 to 100. In each case the industry winner received 100 points, thereby setting the benchmark for all other included brands in that industry. Only brands that scored a minimum of 75 points in the overall ranking were deemed worthy of the accolade.
