On March 6th Engel & Volekers Florence reminds Michelangelo!
Michelangelo Buonarroti was a key figure of the Renaissance period who identifies with our town as an expression of freedom, attachment to republican institutions and a Renaissance genius. We celebrate his birth on March 6th because Michelangelo lived in Florence during his youth and his training where he lived up to over 50 years. As it is known he spent the last 30 years in Rome. It is therefore right that Florence celebrate him every year on the anniversary of the birth with an initiative that remember the greatness of his work and his person.
