Make a contribution – with the purchase of a hand-made leather belt

Is there anything better than receiving a special gift or giving one to those you love? Yes there is, in fact – and that’s being able to help other people at the same time. The Engel & Völkers Charity has collaborated this year with “Katharina Schoen – Belts & Co from Kenya” to help bring about such moments of happiness.

Foto TextInspired by the incredibly colourful jewellery worn by the Massai, Katharina Schoen has been creating leather belts, clutches and dog collars for many years now. They are handcrafted to a top quality standard in Nairobi and produced in the villages of the Massai. The designer and her Massai partners created a limited edition for this year’s Engel & Völkers Polo Cup on Majorca: specially designed belts in the company colours red, white and black. Every belt is a one-off, and each pearl has been stitched onto the robust cowhide leather with the hand of the Massai.

The individual belts can now be ordered in time for Christmas, for between 109 and 129 euros plus shipping costs. The belts are available for men and women, with lengths ranging from 85 to 100 centimetres. They are either three or four centimetres wide, with various different patterns. 40 euros from every belt purchased will be donated to the Engel & Völkers primary school project in Togo. Proceeds from sales also go towards supporting the Massai in Africa.

Purchase now using the order form and put a smile on several people’s faces with these unique gifts.
