The Engel & Völkers network is growing at a rapid pace. Within the space of just six months, the size has climbed from 9,000 to 10,000 people. No. 10,000 is Nancy Bailey, who has just joined the team at Engel & Völkers Niagara in Canada. The Engel & Völkers Shop is situated directly in the centre of Niagara Falls, close to the famous Falls. The experienced real estate professional brings with her 30 years of sales and marketing experience and has a great passion for the Niagara region and many contacts in the Niagara-on-the-Lake community and luxury hotel industry.
Nancy Bailey comes to us from Sotheby’s International Realty Canada brand and has now found her new home at Engel & Völkers. “I know just how important a well-functioning network is, and working in a collaborative atmosphere is very important to me,” said Ms. Bailey. Further discussions with Anthony Hitt, CEO of Engel & Völkers North America, and other real estate agents who like Ms. Bailey had previously worked for Sotheby’s International Realty Canada was part of her due dilligence: “Their personal Engel & Völkers stories and their description of the culture at Engel & Völkers convinced me that joining the Engel & Völkers team was the right step to take.”
“The fact that so many successful real estate agents like Nancy Bailey are choosing to join Engel & Völkers reflects just how strong and attractive our brand has become in North America and above all in Canada,” said Maria-Paz Millan, Global Head of Human Resources. The milestone of 10,000 also shows just how large Engel & Völkers has become in recent years. “In summer 2014 we welcomed the 5,000th person working for the brand. And now, just three-and-a-half years later, the 10,000th,” Ms. Millan continued. “We are absolutely delighted by this development and, of course, want to expand even further.”
