Sant Andreu de Llavaneres is a municipality located in the autonomous community of Catalonia, in the province of Barcelona, in the Maresme region. It is 36 km north of Barcelona, on the shores of the Mediterranean coast where it has the marina Port Balís. It is between the sea to the east and the natural park of Montnegre and the Corredor to the west. The town has good communications with the capital of the province thanks to the Barcelona Renfe local train line 1, as well as the Maresme motorway and the N-II. It has a golf club, as well as two other pitch & putt courses and the Balís marina, all of which give the town an elitist air.
