County of Lika-Senj

The County of Lika-Senj owns the biggest part of the Lika region and also some northern coastline of the Adriatic Sea near the town of Senj including the northern part of the island Pag. Gospic is the center of Lika-Senj.


Lika-Senj county has many tourist attractions including several national parks and nature protected areas, the most well known are the Plitvice Lakes and the Velebit Mountains.

This county is the least populated but it is the largest county in Croatia by area (in total 5352 km²).
