County of Zadar
The County of Zadar is located in northern Dalmatia, with Zadar city as the fifth largest city in Croatia and the second largest in Dalmatia, with a total population of 75,000.
The Zadar Archipelago consists of hundreds of smaller and larger islands and islets, stretching along the coast over the area of about 400 square kilometres. Only twenty of them are permanently populated at present.
The city of Zadar can be easily reached by air, land and sea. It has a good traffic infrastructure through which it is directly connected to other bigger cities of Croatia like Zagreb, Rijeka, Split and Dubrovnik.
