Description

This beautiful property is located in the exclusive residential area of Bonaire, nestled between picturesque mountains and one of Mallorca's most magnificent sea bays, surrounded by beautiful green countryside, close to the Marina de Bonaire and idyllic sandy beaches. The historic old town of Alcúdia, with its comprehensive infrastructure, diverse shops and plenty of good restaurants, is only 10 minutes away. It is a Mediterranean dream house in colonial style, which extends over two spacious floors, with high-quality details, exclusively made of natural materials, such as antique wooden (Mallorcan finca) doors, high ceilings with round wooden beams, brass fittings, handmade terracotta tile floors and a Mexican-style fireplace. Upon entering the villa, you arrive in the impressive living-dining room hall with large windows and an exceptionally high ceiling, which provides plenty of natural light. This seamlessly flows into a slightly raised lounge area for relaxing with a view of the glazed and planted patio courtyard with fountain. This lounge gallery connects directly to the elegant Moorish-style living room with its cosy fireplace, which is visually separated by a wide archway. The connected, spacious, open architecture of the three interconnecting rooms exudes timeless charm and character. From the living room, there are views of and direct access to the expansive terracotta terrace and the paradisiacal garden, featuring a large, naturally shaped swimming pool. The outdoor area also includes a charming Mediterranean stone hut housing the pool equipment and a bamboo garden shower corner, all together evoking a tranquil South Sea atmosphere —set on 1,670 m² of land. The adjoining upper plot of 410 m², now included, features a charming Balinese lounge hut and offers the potential, if desired, to construct an additional guest house of approximately 150 m² in the near future. Overall, the property’s excellent location, surrounded by dense, tall, and diverse vegetation—including majestic trees, palms, shrubs, cacti, and exotic flowers—ensures exceptional privacy while enjoying all the benefits of a peaceful residential area. Returning to the living-dining hall, and positioned beside the large, welcoming dining table, is the charming semi-open Mallorcan kitchen, gracefully separated by a beautiful arched doorway. The kitchen delights with its handcrafted wooden doors, drawers, and cupboards, masterfully made by skilled carpenters, complemented by rare Sabina wooden beams, and is fully equipped. From the kitchen, a practical laundry room with a pantry cupboard provides direct access to the side garden through another antique door. Also on the ground floor is a spacious double bedroom featuring high-quality built-in wardrobes, direct access to the terrace and garden, and an en-suite bathroom, combining comfort and elegance seamlessly. An artistically designed staircase in Mexican Pueblo style leads to the upper floor. Adjacent to a veranda gallery with an open view from above into the living-dining room hall, there are two beautiful bedrooms with sloping ceilings with wooden beams and built-in wardrobes. Each has its own bathroom and an exquisite terrace offering fantastic views of the tropical garden, the swimming pool, the Balinese hut on a hill, and the imposing mountains in the background. A third upper terrace, located on the other side of the villa, opens up to wide views of Pollensa Bay and spectacular sunsets. Features include oil central heating, underfloor heating throughout the ground floor, radiators on the upper floor and modern air conditioning (hot/cold) in all three bedrooms, ensuring pleasant temperatures in the house both in summer and winter. In addition, this well-designed villa features a guest toilet next to the entrance and offers a spacious storage and utility garage with direct access to the house, housing the heating, water, and electrical systems, and also includes a small wine cellar.

Location: Es Mal Pas - Bonaire, Balearic Islands

The borough of Alcudia also including the town of Alcudia in the north of Mallorca, the largest of the Balearic Islands, is very well connected to the main road network and is at only a 45 minute drive from Palma and the airport. Flanked by the bays of both Pollensa and Alcudia with a total of 30 kilometers of coastline that includes the beautiful sand beach "Playa de Alcudia", Alcudia is an excellent tourist destination for families. With a population of almost 20.000 residents, Alcudia has been characterized by its historic center and well-preserved walls since the fourteenth century. The small, traffic free streets are home to a range of boutique hotels, a town market with local products takes place in the center every Sunday and Tuesday, and of course there are a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops that are open throughout the year. Alongside the modern infrastructure the traditional festivals continue to play a big part in town life, such as Sant Antoni in January, the Sepia fair in April, the Feast of St. James in June and the Alcudia Fair in October, etc. Perfect for year round living with great amenities, such as health centers, Juaneda hospital, library, schools, and there is even an international "My School" in nearby Sa Pobla. Other attractions include Alcanada Golf course, Puerto de Alcudia, Barcarés - a quiet residential area in front of the sea with villas and houses that are mainly owned by locals. Bonaire with its Puerto Cocodrilo (a small marina) and wonderful villas many with breathtaking views of the Bay of Pollensa, and the fantastic coves of Mal Pas. Home to the lucky few and a little further inland is Son Fe, a beautiful country side area.
