Costa Navarino: Location and surroundings of this plot

Vromoneri is a wonderful beach on the West coast of the Southern Peloponnese. It is located a few kilometers north of the coast of Navarino.
It has clear blue waters and is suitable for swimming most of the year, as the area has one of the warmest climates in Greece. Its name is due to the thermal waters with a characteristic smell that spring up in the area.

In the past there were thermal bath facilities which are to be operational again in the near future. The area is covered by ancient olive groves that produce one of the best quality olive oils in the world as well as forests of pine oak and other Mediterranean species.

From Vromoneri, one can easily reach many archaeologically important areas of the Peloponnese (Nestor's Palace, Neokastro, Ancient Olympia, Ancient Messina, Methoni, Epicureios, Apollo, Koroni). There are areas of supreme natural beauty a short distance away (Neda gorge, Kalamari waterfall, Polylimnio, Voidokoilia, Mati, Divari...)

The nearest airport is 60 km away. Many towns: Pylos, Gargaliani, Kyparissia, Filiatra, are a short distance away to cover every need. All towns have a health center or Hospital and in Kyparissia (35Min) distance there is an artificial kidney unit.
