Bunyola is a small village at the foot of the Sierra de Alfábia, surrounded by the Serra de Tramuntana, with about 6,000 inhabitants and a large municipal area. It is one of the six largest municipalities on the island. The municipality includes Palmanyola and Orient, as well as the impressive country estates of Alfábia and Raixa. One of the treasures of this stunning area is “Sa Comuna,” a property owned by the municipality. Bunyola is very well connected by road and train, with the historic station still in use, linking Palma and Sóller. The village is known for its tranquility, the charm of its narrow streets, the architecture of its traditional stone houses, and its proximity to Palma.
