Olympia Region - Leutasch
Leutasch is a municipality in the district of Innsbruck Land, Tyrol. The town is in the Leutasch Valley, a high valley which extends 16 km from the Hohe Munde mountain to the north east along the Wetterstein range and ends at the Leutaschklamm Gorge. The valley is surrounded by distinctive peaks.
Leutasch has developed since the 1960s into a peaceful holiday region with a wonderful village atmosphere.
In winter, extensive cross-country ski runs are laid out, 297 km in total constituting the cross-country runs of the Seefeld Olympia Region.
In summer, the landscape is little changed, with broad meadows against a breathtaking backdrop making it a paradise for hikers and climbers.
Peaceful as it is, you are just 15 minutes' drive away from the well-known town of Seefeld and half an hour's drive from the state capital Innsbruck.
