Success by analysing growth
Today we are pleased to introduce you to a long-standing collaboration and business partner. The joyous occasion for telling you the exciting story about the renowned asset manager Rhein Asset Management S.A. is their Firstfive award achievement in 2021.
Engel & Völkers extends sincere congratulations to Rhein Asset Management S.A. on their well-deserved first place in the 12-month rating.
Founded in 1999 in Dusseldorf, Rhein Asset Management S.A. is headquartered in Luxembourg and has branches in Dusseldorf and Frankfurt. Since then, it has experienced constant growth. Currently, the company manages assets with a volume of more than 1 million euros. The team’s 30 experienced specialists develop and implement tailored solutions for wealthy private clients and institutional investors.
Mark Bügers von Rhein Asset Management S.A gave us an insight into their success story in a short interview:
Rhein Asset Management: That is quite easy to answer. Placing emphasis on stability, discipline and reliability combined with the goal of advocating clients’ interests in the best way possible have all been part of the company’s philosophy since the very beginning. As experts for private and institutional asset management, Rhein Asset Management provides innovative solutions, which are primarily based on independence, in all stock market periods.
RAM: Rhein Asset Management’s growth would not have been possible without its excellent results on many occasions. Clients can count on the company’s experience and know-how. In the past decade, the company prepared its investment strategy through meaningful investments in technology and human competency in connection with changes in the markets. This process is still a focus of Rhein Asset Management’s business. This is the only way the company can achieve the results for clients in future, which Rhein Asset Management once again received an award for this year.
RAM: Absolutely! We are completely convinced that the year 2020 will acquire historic significance. All around the world, people have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The impacts of this international crisis were unimaginable. The capital markets were bowled over by the first wave of the pandemic in February 2020. However, just a little while after the drastic declines on the stock market, recovery trends could be observed, which were to continue very differently depending on sector in the course of the year. Our success in 2020 was based on the thorough analysis of the interplay between international central bank and fiscal policies. Our strategic focus is directed towards the identification of growth. Based upon our top-down approach “from world view to portfolio”, Rhein Asset recognised the societal changes in the context of the Corona crisis early.
RAM: Implementation was carried out in a four-stage process leading us to the regions, branches, and companies, which this development’s growth drivers could be found in. Our clients benefit from the fact that we, as the active manager, aim to achieve maximum investment success. However, we do not pursue this goal by placing risky bets, but by actively managing risks and focused asset allocation.
RAM: We are delighted to have been awarded with first place in the 1-year rating for the very moving and challenging year 2020! The second place in the 3-year rating and the third place in the 5-year rating also show that our investment strategy is sustainable and successful regardless of short-term market trends. The Covid-19 crisis has further reinforced our investment process. The selection of shares, which profit from global growth areas and fulfil our criteria, represents the foundation of our philosophy. It is particularly important for us to thank our clients for their loyalty and trust.
