At "Hof Van Cleve", the exception only has one rule: technical cooking with excellent products. And it is most likely for this reason that the restaurant of Peter Goossens has managed to reach first place in the ranking of the “world's 60 best restaurants” on the WBP Stars website. Ahead of "El Celler de Can Roca" (in Spain) and thus reversing the positions that it had to be content with in 2015, the farmhouse located in Kruishoutem therefore adds the accolade to the three Michelin stars previously obtained. Two other impressive Belgian chefs also feature in the rankings: Geert De Mangeleer of Hertog Jan and Sang-Hoon Degeimbre of l’Air du Temps.
At the winning restaurant, the delicious and refined dishes, the flavours of which stay in your sensory memory for a long time after, follow one after the other with complete wonder. Fine produce is used here, even when they belong in usually more exotic kitchens, such as wasabi and yuzu. Everything revolves around them and their purity, together with the most exquisite methods. The sommelier Pieter Verheyde also dips into his best bottles to refine the perfect balance of tastes. Here, Belgium has a real gastronomical jewel and at the same time, an unforgettable experience.
Another way to get close to the stars is by perhaps buying a property in the Flemish countryside, near to this now unique restaurant. You can count on our agencies for this in Kortrijk, Oudernaarde and Ghent.
