Antwerp: an up-and-coming city

The city is also home to many expatriates who constitute an important source of potential tenants for investors wishing to let properties. Finally, Antwerp is well positioned in terms of its gross rental yield: around 4.5%, which is an attractive return.

A Belgian municipality in full expansion

Real estate specialists anticipate a strong demographic increase in Melgium's major cities in the coming years. People living in these municipalities are wanting more and more amenities to be available to them (schools, public transport, shops, parks, etc.) close to their homes. In Belgium, Antwerp is currently the metropolis with the largest number of real estate investments. Just behind it is Brussels, followed by the cities of Ghent, Mechelen and, finally, Ostend in fifth place.
