Living in the garden in Belgium

Although a private patch of green within the urban area of Brussels can be considered somewhat of a luxury, this is certainly not the case once you set foot outside the borders of the capital! And this is definitely one of the main reasons why a large number of residents decide to go and live on the outskirts of Brussels or even further, in the countryside.

Freestanding homes are mostly lined by stretches of greenery that are relatively long, depending on the region, and offer a green environment that should really be cherished. Belgian gardens, however, are not subject to one specific style and generally offer a mixture of influences and preferences, giving rise to spaces full of personality - ranging from French- or English-inspired to a mock-wild look.

Some choose to put their sled there for the children, others prefer to build a greenhouse so they can indulge in their passion for botany ... And your garden? What does yours look like?
